                              Our Mission

The vision of Sonora Middle School is to ensure that every student performs at the proficient level or above in reading, writing, math, and science, and civic education while meeting individual needs through interest/talent development, enrichment opportunities, and career readiness.

Mr. Rollins will be at STEM night (4-15-14) to answer questions about the School of Innovation.
The School of Innovation will open in the fall of 2014 with its first class of 8th graders. Each year the school will grow to include another grade, until the first class of seniors graduates in the spring of 2019 with High School Diplomas and Associate's Degrees.

Students in the School of Innovation will have an amazing opportunity to personalize their education with strong support in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in a technology-rich environment.  Watch this video to find out more.

Staff and students in the "Benchmark Pep Rally"

Sonora Middle School received a grant from the Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation (SPSEF). These funds were used to purchase four sets of non-fiction leveled readers from Houghton Mifflin. With these sets, our teachers and students now have access to 240 non-fiction leveled readers and accompanying assessments. We truly appreciate the funding provided by the SPSEF!
